Krenz named CFO of Serve Credit Union

Krenz has more than 13 years of financial and operational experience. Before joining Serve Credit Union, he worked for 11 years at Community 1st Credit Union in Ottumwa, as both regional and branch manager. “Wesley possesses extensive expertise across financial and business operations and brings years of experience within the credit union industry,” said Jami Weems, CEO of Serve. “Finding the right CFO is no small task, but Wesley’s broad experience makes him the right choice to lead our financial operations and support our continued growth.” Krenz received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Buena Vista University in 2016, and is currently enrolled in the MBA program with the University of Iowa. Founded in 1931, Serve Credit Union is one of the oldest in the state and serves all public safety professionals, including law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs and corrections officers. It opened an Urbandale branch in 2018.
