Kum & Go announces expansion to Michigan

121 wordsAll Latest News, Retail and Business, Statewide NewsDes Moines-based convenience store chain Kum & Go is expanding to Michigan with an undisclosed number of stores opening in the Grand Rapids area in 2022. The company recently announced it was also expanding into Utah. Tanner Krause, Kum & Go’s chief executive officer, in May told the Business Record that the company planned to expand into new markets. “We will be building in Iowa, for sure, but we’ll also be building in new markets … as well as growing in our existing markets: Omaha, Denver, Colorado Springs,” he said. “Any market that we currently have a presence in, we will be adding to over the next five years.” Kum & Go has 400 stores in 11 states including Iowa.
