Kum & Go has become the first platinum sponsor for the 2019-20 Capital City Pride season, donating $10,000. The Iowa LGBTQ+ nonprofit will use the money to support year-round advocacy programming next year. “Our differences make us stronger, and one of the most diverse places you can go is to a Kum & Go store,” said Kum & Go Chairman & CEO Kyle Krause. “Our stores welcome everyone, and this is why we are proud to support Capital City Pride for 2020.” The most recent Pride Fest brought more than 30,000 people to the East Village in Des Moines, and drew national media coverage.
