José Laracuente, president and CEO of Ankeny-based AgVision Agribusiness Software, has been named the new chair of the UnityPoint Health-Des Moines board of directors. Laracuente initially joined the board in April 2015 and was most recently elected vice chair in August 2017. During his tenure on the board, Laracuente has served on the executive committee, finance committee, strategic planning, governance and properties committees, and has chaired the audit/legal affairs and compliance committee. Dr. Rossana Maria Rosa Espinoza also has joined the UnityPoint Health-Des Moines board. She has been an infectious diseases specialist at UnityPoint Clinic since July 2016, and is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
