Corridor Business Journal: Johnson County’s largely symbolic minimum wage will jump up to $14 an hour beginning July 1, nearly doubling the state minimum wage of $7.25 an hour. Though the wage increase is unenforceable under state law, the county board of supervisors approved the increase to remain in line with a 2015 vote to begin phased increases.
