The Latina Leadership Initiative of Greater Des Moines recently announced its 2018-19 graduating class, composed of seven members. Teresa Aguilar, Norma Dorado Robles, Vanessa Espinoza, Jessica Mena, Evelin Orellana, Assua Phongsavanh and Berenice Real graduated from LLI at a ceremony on April 27, which marks the completion of a nine-month program designed to infuse traditional leadership training with an additional focus on gender, culture and local community impact.
