The law firm of Fredrikson & Byron has moved into new office space on the third floor of 111 E. Grand Ave., the firm announced. The firm previously had been located at 505 E. Grand Ave. “Our move is an essential next step for our growth strategy,” Fredrikson shareholder Bridget Penick said in a prepared statement. “Our clients need greater innovation than ever before, and a modernized workspace allows us to better serve them while offering our team a safe space to collaborate during the COVID-19 pandemic.” The building, constructed with mass timber, recently was named one of Engineering News Record’s Best of the Best Projects. Fredrikson & Byron’s headquarters is in Minneapolis. It expanded its Des Moines presence in 2014 with the addition of three attorneys. The Des Moines office now has more than 20 attorneys.
