New York Times best-selling author, coach, and speaker John Maxwell has selected West Des Moines as a host site for a live simulcast, L2L: LIVE2LEAD on Oct. 9. The half-day event will be powerful for CEOs, business owners or anyone who wants to sharpen their leadership skills, said local business coach Monte Wyatt, who will host the event at the Valley Community Center. Maxwell, who was recently named by Inc. magazine as the most popular leadership and management expert in the world, is the founder of the John Maxwell Company, the John Maxwell Team, and EQUIP, a nonprofit organization that has trained more than 5 million leaders in 180 countries.
