Leadership Institute introduces five new awards
In honor of its 30th anniversary, the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute (GDMLI) has introduced five new Distinguished Leadership Award categories. The awards will recognize GDMLI alumni who exemplify the organization’s commitment to challenging, inspiring, developing and connecting community leaders, as well as for their volunteer efforts. Recipients of these new awards and the longstanding Distinguished Business Leadership Award and the A. Arthur Davis Community Leadership Award will be honored at the Distinguished Leadership Awards Gala taking place at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown on May 3. The new award categories are Community Visioning Award – Challenging; Community Visioning Award – Inspiring; Community Visioning Award – Developing; Community Visioning Award – Connecting; and the Distinguished GDML Alumni Volunteer Award.
