Lego built a drivable ‘Bugatti Chiron’ with over 1 million pieces

I must admit that in my younger years, I could be found in the basement of my parents’ home creating, destroying and then rebuilding multiple Lego vehicles and machines. This love of Legos I’m positive played a role in my love of cars in my adult life. When I read an article by the Verge, I was floored over the creation of a life-size car. Over 1 million Lego pieces were used to create an operational replica of a Bugatti Chiron with a “theoretical” top speed of 18 mph, just a tad less than the 261 mph of the real deal. After reading this, I feel my firetrucks, race cars and other vehicles just were not up to today’s Lego standard.
