The LGBTQ Leadership Institute, sponsored by One Iowa, will hold its graduation for 2020 participants at noon Thursday via Zoom. This year’s graduates include McKena Richardson, a construction management representative for the Arcanum Group; Mitchell Hooyer, who is attending medical school at the University of Iowa; William Garrison, a University of Iowa graduate who wants to work with homeless youths; Artemis Rivera, a recent graduate of King’s College in New York City who is completing a master’s program at Upper Iowa University; Zachary Rochester, a yoga and meditation teacher, community organizer and student; Kaitlyn Munro, a chess teacher with Youth Enrichment League and self-employed licensed massage therapist; Mila Kaut, a researcher and historian with Iowa Colored Conventions Projects; Jen Stout, maternal and child health director at EveryStep; and Nicole Holmberg, a licensed clinical psychologist at Birchwood Wellness.
