About: On the first Friday of every month, join us to hear the savvy, successful business owners and entrepreneurs of Des Moines share their stories. In a laid-back environment, you’ll catch some words of wisdom from women and men who have been through it before — and maybe walk away with a new connection (or two). About: Stephanie Neighbors Kubik is a former banker who opened a bakery and a yoga studio. She initially opened Healthy Girl Bakery in 2013 after retiring from her family’s bank, Farmers State Bank. After starting Vella Yoga, she decided to hang up her apron so she could focus more on her yoga studio and community.
