The Athena Awards are intended to elevate and honor women who are setting a gold standard in their business and community leadership, and who are helping to bring along the next generation of female leaders. Headlining this year’s Quad Cities Conference is Jeannette Walls, author of “The Glass Castle,” and Jeffery Tobias Halter, president of YWomen, a strategic consulting company focused on engaging men in women’s leadership issues.
