The New York Times kicked off its “Unfinished Work” series, investigating the ongoing battle for women’s rights in America. Last week the newspaper explored the road to the 19th Amendment and the women who made it happen.

Fortune last week released its annual Fortune 500 list, tallying the largest companies in American business. This year, there’s a new milestone accompanying the list: More women than ever before run Fortune 500 companies.

After a lifetime with a severe stutter, Annie Glenn became an advocate for people with speech disorders. Glenn died at 100 of complications from the coronavirus last week.

The new FX documentary “AKA Jane Roe” comes complete with a twist ending. Norma McCorvey, the anonymous plaintiff in Roe v. Wade, famously changed her stance about abortion and became an anti-abortion activist in the 1990s. Before her death in 2017, she said that she was paid by anti-abortion groups to switch to their side of the issue.
