Cedar Rapids Gazette: Linn County’s Board of Supervisors has become the second in the state’s 99 counties to pass a minimum wage ordinance aimed at raising the local rate higher than the state and federal rate. The board voted 4-1 Monday to establish an ordinance that raises the minimum wage to $8.25 on Jan. 1. With three annual increases, the wage is to reach $10.25 on Jan. 1, 2019.
