The United Way of Central Iowa will be hosting its annual Live United celebration, recognizing individuals and organizations for their impact on the community through United Way. The event will feature the unveiling of the annual Community Impact Report, highlighting progress in areas such as essential needs, early childhood success, education success, economic opportunity, and health and well-being. The winners of the annual Live United Awards will also be announced at the event. The organization’s strategies to address challenges within the five elements of a thriving community will focus on growth and progress, with a specific emphasis on equity and reducing barriers.
