Numerous Greater Des Moines nonprofits are in the running for a $15,000 office technology makeover. To win the makeover, nonprofits from 125 counties throughout Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin are participating in the 10th annual Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest, organized by Premier and RK Dixon. Members of the public can support their favorite nonprofit by casting their votesonline. Participating nonprofits can be found through the website’s searchable database. The first round of online voting, which ends on Sept. 2 at 5 p.m., will narrow participants down to the top 30 organizations, moving each a step closer to the top prize. Premier and RK Dixon have also partnered with WOI-TV in Des Moines to promote the contest and highlight finalist stories.
