Taufeek Shah, who owns Lola’s Fine Hot Sauce, will soon see his products in more than 1,300 Lowe’s home improvement stores after being named a top entrepreneur in “Making it … with Lowe’s,” the company’s new virtual pitch program. Lowe’s program gives the owners of diverse small businesses the opportunity to pitch their products directly to Lowe’s top executives, according to a news release. Shah operates Lola’s Fine Sauce, located in West Des Moines, and Lola’s Fine Kitchen, located in Ankeny. Shah received a marketing support package and a $5,000 small business grant from Lowe’s.
