Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds honored three Iowans this week for their participation in the inaugural Iowa Women’s Art Exhibition, designed to showcase female artists and celebrate their contributions to the state’s culture. Presented in conjunction with Art Week Des Moines and displayed in Reynolds’ formal office, the exhibition featured work by Kathranne Knight of Ames, Sarah Grant of Des Moines and Mary Laube of Iowa City. It was created through a partnership between Reynolds and the Iowa Arts Council. This month, three new female artists will be featured in the exhibition. More information about it is availableonline.
