Des Moines Register: A majority of Iowans favor cutting state income taxes to a 3.9% flat rate, lending support to a law Gov. Kim Reynolds signed last week. But a majority also oppose cutting taxes for corporations, another component of the package Reynolds signed. More than half of Iowans, 54%, say they favor the cuts for individuals, while 38% oppose them and 9% are not sure. Just over one-third of Iowans, 34%, say they favor cutting corporate taxes if the state hits its revenue targets while a majority, 53%, are opposed and 13% are not sure.
