Make-A-Wish Foundation of Iowa sent a Council Bluffs 6-year-old and her family to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida to meet the Disney princesses. Hers was the 2,500th wish granted in Iowa. This year, the Iowa Chapter is celebrating its 25th anniversary of granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. The chapter grants a wish every other day, and 82 cents of every dollar raised are devoted to granting wishes.
