Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc. announced Thursday it has opened the Marsh & McLennan Innovation Centre in Dublin, Ireland. The center, which is expected to create about 100 new highly skilled jobs in Ireland, is the first of its kind for Marsh & McLennan and will provide a data and analytics development platform for its businesses — Marsh, Guy Carpenter, Mercer and Oliver Wyman — to deliver digital solutions to clients, the company said in a release. Mercer and Marsh currently employ more than 1,000 people in Urbandale. In April,Mercer announced it would be hiring 300 more people for the Urbandale center, driven by the growth of Mercer’s offerings in the benefits landscape.
