Jay Marshall

Jay Marshall, executive vice president and chief retail officer of Hy-Vee Inc., has been named Hy-Vee’s new chief operating officer. Marshall will retain all responsibility for retail operations and store development and will assume responsibility for all merchandising areas in the coming months. He has been with the company since 1982. During his time with Hy-Vee, he has been a store director, vice president of center store, senior vice president of marketing/merchandising and executive vice president of Hy-Vee’s eastern region. Marshall will retain the title of executive vice president in addition to chief operating officer.
