Mason City Globe Gazette: A Mason City Mexican restaurant and three others in Minnesota have been ordered to pay $831,232 in back wages to 113 current and former employees. Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant in Mason City must pay $129,714 to 26 employees. The mandate follows an investigation by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division, which found violations of the minimum wage, overtime and recordkeeping requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act at the four restaurants.
