About: The YESS Duck Derby, presented by Academy Roofing & Sheet Metal Co., is back to celebrate 12 years of spec-quack-ular fun, and we need YOU to “join the flock” and help kids in crisis. Adopt a duck for as little as a $5 donation and watch it race across the Jordan Creek Town Center lake. Every duck adopted helps children find safety and care at YESS, Iowa’s largest emergency shelter for kids. Cheer on thousands of rubber ducks as they race through the lake at 2 p.m. If your duck is one of the first 10 across the finish line, you’ll be the lucky duck going home with one of our fabulous prizes, including $10,000 cash, courtesy of PDM Precast. All proceeds will benefit Youth Emergency Services & Shelter (YESS).
