Clive-based McClure Engineering Co. has acquired Shafer, Kline & Warren Inc. of Lenexa, Kan.

Clive-based McClure Engineering Co. has acquired Shafer, Kline & Warren Inc. of Lenexa, Kan. Paul Trombino was named acting president. The acquisition adds scale to McClure’s existing civil engineering and surveying services, expands its operations to the Kansas City metropolitan area and Oklahoma, and diversifies the company’s capabilities by adding the Kansas firm’s engineering, procurement and construction services for the oil and gas industry, according to a release.
