Nick Glew, president of the Marion Economic Development Corporation (MEDCO) since 2014, will step down to pursue a new opportunity in the region. Glew has played a pivotal role in various community organizations and boards, including the Marion City Council and Uptown Marion. Under his leadership, MEDCO supported over $375 million in new investments and created/retained 2,500 jobs. The MEDCO Executive Committee has initiated a search for his successor. Glew will continue to lead the organization until June 30.
