A new 13,000-square-foot medical office building is in the works in Urbandale.

The two-story building will be constructed at 2400 82nd Place. Steve Franklin, community development manager and chief planner for Urbandale, said the developer already have a tenant for the top floor of the building.

The building is expected to get its final approval at the city, council meeting Oct. 9.
