‘Meet Your Neighbors’ boxes available in W.D.M. for Multicultural Children’s Book Day
The West Des Moines Community School District and the West Des Moines Public Library are partnering to offer Meet Your Neighbors Story Boxes, take-home collections of books, music and activities aimed as children in preschool through third grade. The boxes each focus on a different geographical region and encourage readers to make connections with their community and neighbors. The library also offers curated book lists with activity guides for older children.
