Mentor day set for entrepreneurs age 50 and beyond
The U.S. Small Business Administration and AARP will team up Oct. 2 to host the first National Encore Entrepreneur Mentor Day for entrepreneurs over the age of 50. In Des Moines, the event will be held at the AARP conference room, 600 E. Court Ave. Free counseling and technical assistance will be available to help “encore entrepreneurs” start and grow their businesses. There is no charge to attend, but RSVPs are requested.
