Mercy also is seeking an amendment to its planned unit development conceptual plan that would expand the area by slightly more than 2 acres.
Mercy wants to demolish Mercy Apartments for development of an east parking structure and surface parking, demolish Mercy Office Plaza for a southwest parking structure, and demolish the existing east parking structure to accommodate development of the tower that would include two levels of below-ground parking, according to a summary of the project on the Plan and Zoning Commission agenda for Aug. 18.
A Mercy representative could not be reached for comment.
