Mercy Clinics acquires property next to Southridge Mall

Mercy Clinics Inc. has purchased three parcels adjacent to Southridge Mall, Polk County real estate records show.

Two of the parcels are undeveloped. The third, at 1101 E. Army Post Road, includes a 8,896-square-foot, one-story retail building. One undeveloped lot is just east of the 1101 E. Army Post property; the other is to the south.

Mercy Clinics Inc. paid Macerich Southridge Mall LLC, the mall’s owner, just over $1 million for the three parcels.

The properties have a combined value of $714,000.

Hurd Napa LLC, managed by developer Richard Hurd, paid Kutscher Holdings LLC $1.2 million for property at 801 S.W. 63rd St. in Des Moines, records show. The property includes a 5,000-square-foot, one-story building occupied by an auto parts store. The property is valued at $758,000. The transaction was recorded July 18.

315 E McKinley LLC, located in Ankeny, paid McKinley Apartments LLC $3.9 million for property at 311 and 315 E. McKinley Ave. in Des Moines, records show.
