Mercy College of Health Sciences will receive a $1.79 million federal grant over four years to help pay for the new  the Community Advocacy Registered Nurse Education (CARE) project at Mercy College. The CARE project will increase the number of nursing students and registered nurses in community-based primary care teams in Iowa. This project will be administered by the Mercy College School of Nursing and partners, serving seven counties. The grant came from the Health Resources and Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
