Mercy Clinics announced Tuesday that it is converting its family medicine clinic in Urbandale to an internal medicine clinic and will move several family practice doctors from that clinic to its other clinics in Greater Des Moines, effective Feb. 2. Three internal medicine physicians – Dr. Jose Angel, Dr. Archana Bhat and Dr. Larry Rabang – along with a physician assistant and a nurse practitioner, will be transferred from Mercy Jordan Creek Internal Medicine to the Urbandale clinic at 4005 N.W. Urbandale Drive , which will be renamed Mercy Clinics Internal Medicine Urbandale. Four family practice physicians currently practicing at the Urbandale facility are relocating their practices to other Mercy Clinic locations within the metro area where there has been an increase in demand for additional providers, Mercy said in a release.
