MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center has taken some of its information systems offline, including electronic health records. A Wednesday statement from MercyOne Central Iowa said the staff continues to use established downtime procedures and document care through paper records. A statement issued today said patients are temporarily unable to schedule appointments online in Central Iowa due to the IT issue
