Meredith assumes control of Martha Stewart brands

Meredith Corp. will take control of the editorial and operational teams for Martha Stewart’s media brands under a change to the original licensing arrangements, the company reported. Meredith and Sequential Brands Group Inc. announced a new 10-year contract Tuesday. Sequential bought Stewart’s company earlier this month. The original Meredith contract signed last year had Martha Stewart’s staff providing editorial content while Meredith handled sales, marketing, circulation and production.
