Des Moines-based Meredith Corp. on Wednesday cut about 200 jobs and merged its Cooking Light magazine into EatingWell. Cooking Light will live on as a website and will publish six newsstand-only print editions a year. Meredith also said it would outsource the production of books that are spun out of magazines.
