Meredith extends Wal-Mart deal
Meredith Corp. has extended its licensing agreement for Better Homes & Gardens products at Walmart through mid-2024 in the United States and Canada. Thomas Witschi, president of Meredith Consumer Products, said Meredith has expanded its home and outdoor lines. “We look forward to continuing our successful relationship with Walmart,” he added. The brand hit Walmart shelves in 1998 and in 2008 expanded from mainly gardening supplies to the broader home category. The number of items has increased sixfold to 3,000 from the original 500.
