The Metro Arts Alliance this week announced the winners of its second annual Art Within Everything (AWE) Awards, all of whom will be honored at the Dining for the Arts event on April 11. Among the winners is Stewart Buck of Ankeny, recipient of the AWE Artist Award. Also being honored is Chad Cox, general manager of Hillyard Des Moines and chair of the Des Moines Social Club board of directors. Cox is the recipient of the AWE Champion Award. Finally, Business Publications Corp. Inc., parent company of the Business Record, will receive the first-ever AWE Infusion Award, given to an individual or entity outside the arts sector that infuses art into its lifestyle or business.
