The Metro Arts Alliance recently recognized the winners of its second annual Art Within Everything (AWE) Awards at the Dining for the Arts event held on April 11. Among the winners is Stewart Buck of Ankeny, recipient of the AWE Artist Award. Also honored is Chad Cox, general manager of Hillyard Des Moines and chair of the Des Moines Social Club board of directors. Cox is the recipient of the AWE Champion Award. Finally, Business Publications Corp. Inc., parent company of the Business Record, received the first-ever AWE Infusion Award. The Infusion award is given to an individual or entity outside of the arts sector that infuses a creative and innovative approach to their lifestyle or business.
