Home prices in Greater Des Moines, including distressed sales, declined by 0.9 percent in February and 0.8 percent in January compared with year-ago data for each month. according to a report today from CoreLogic Inc. Excluding distressed sales, year-over-year prices increased by 2.1 percent in February and 1.4 percent in January, the real estate research firm said. Nationwide, home prices, including distressed sales, declined on a year-over-year basis by 2 percent in February. Excluding distressed sales, prices increased 0.7 percent.
