The Organization of MISO States has named Tanya Paslawski as executive director. She replaced longtime director Bill Smith on June 1. Smith had served since the organization formed in 2004. He will serve as director emeritus until Nov. 30. Paslawski served as deputy executive director of the organization and had worked in other roles, including five years with the Michigan Public Service Commission. OMS is a not-for-profit, self-governing organization of regulatory agencies with jurisdiction over entities within the Midcontinent Independent System Operator. Read more
