Montana State chancellor named UNI president finalist

The Iowa Board of Regents has named Mark Nook, chancellor at Montana State University Billings, as the third finalist for president of the University of Northern Iowa. Before joining Montana State in 2014, Nook was senior vice president for academic and student affairs at University of Wisconsin System Administration in Madison. He has a doctorate in astronomy from the University of Wisconsin, where he has held key administrative roles. He has also been a professor and administrator at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. Nook will visit the UNI campus on Thursday to meet with faculty, staff, students and members of the community. More information about the three finalists can be found here.
