The “helicopter money,” has rescued multiple Iowa venues from almost certain downsizing or closures, Loyd Ogle, an entertainment advocate who cofounded the 80/35 Music Festival, said. Congress approved $16 billion in grants through the Shuttered Venue Operators program last year.
