Des Moines health care entrepreneur Tom Moreland is adding health care staffing to his repertoire. Moreland has opened the first Iowa franchise for Nextaff, a staffing company with franchises in nine states. Moreland, who was recognized by the Business Record as a Forty Under 40 in 2006, founded Iowa Hospice when he was 26 and subsequently launched several more hospice and home care companies in the state. The Des Moines franchise of Nextaff, independently owned and operated by Moreland, will provide health care staffing services for a five-county area.
