The Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization has approved $13 million for 21 projects. The work will include trails, streetscapes and replacement transit buses, as well as new and reconstructed roads. Among the projects are the Southeast Connector, Ingersoll Avenue streetscape, the I-80/35 interchange with Iowa 141, and Grand Prairie Parkway.
