N.J. papers say Branstad, Rastetter to play roles in Trump campaign
Cedar Rapids Gazette: A group of New Jersey newspapers including the Star-Ledger, citing two anonymous sources with Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, reported that Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad and Board of Regents President Bruce Rastetter could soon be announced as key economic advisers to the campaign and that Rastetter is a “leading candidate” to become the U.S. secretary of agriculture should Trump win office. A spokesman for the governor’s office disputed the report, calling it “overblown.”
