National Pork Board to elect new officers today
The National Pork Board will elect new officers today and take a variety of other actions before the World Pork Expo begins tomorrow.
The board will elect a new president, vice president and treasurer, according to a press release.
Along with elections, the board will meet with its auditing firm to discuss financial statements and will consider allocating $550,000 toward television advertising in the fall and $500,000 toward developing more international market opportunities.
