Nationwide donates $65,000 to Science Center
Nationwide Insurance Foundation has donated $65,000 to the Science Center of Iowa and Blank IMAX Dome Theater (SCI) to help it continue educational programs and IMAX films.
Nationwide has helped fund SCI since 2000, according to a release. SCI does about 10,000 hours of educational programming every year, according to a release.
“Live science programming, both at SCI and in our outreach program, brings to life science learning at a level both children and adults get excited about science, technology, engineering and math,” said Art Wittmack, president and CEO of SCI.
