Nationwide to hire more than 60 in Des Moines
Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. said it plans to add more than 60 people to its work force through a community open house hiring event that will be held through 4 p.m. today at Stoney Creek Inn, 5291 Stoney Creek Place in Johnston. The insurer said it is seeking to fill a variety of positions, among them property and casualty, claims and commercial lines customer service representatives and agents. Nationwide currently employs more than 4,000 people in Central Iowa in all operations, with more than 3,300 representing property and casualty insurance operations.
